Another example of a vector drawn illustration – again using the basic Flash drawing tools(line tool, and linear and radial gradients). The image is fully vector and 100% infinitely scaleable so great for full screen digital screen presentations or animated within website Flash media and with resolution independance, it also prints out at top quality… oh, and it’s only 56k! Time: 6-8 hours.
Below are the two stages of how my vector illustrations are created – firstly, a photographic image is manually ‘traced’ within layers inside Flash to create a framework which not only outlines the basic shape and features of the car but also takes into account important shines, shadows and highlights.
