Introducing Acuity ETS Eye Tracking

Acuity ETS was established in 2008 and in a very short space of time has established itself as the number one global reseller of Tobii eye tracking solutions.

Eye tracking is a fascinating science that removes the ambiguity from conventional usability and user experience testing by proving exactly what users look at, how long they look at it, and what path they follow.

Acuity ETS provide solutions for Scientific Research, Market Research, Usability & UX, Marketing and OEM Projects. Applications include Advertisement effectiveness, merchandising, training and Web site usability.

The challenge for the team was to produce a Web site marketing platform that stood up to Acuity's own rigorous usability standards and would drive increased visitors to make greater conversions.

As a relatively new company with a strong industry background, Acuity ETS were keen to promote an image of an established offering backed by extensive industry experience. High levels of professionalism needed to be communicated as Acuity ETS was driven to promote product excellence and service expertise.

We used 10 years of specific Web usability experience and combined this with the cross-sector experience from Acuity's own usability experts to formulate a plan to deliver the correct message to four specific market sectors.

Intuitive navigation meant that Users could reveal summary information from each specific sector without even needing a mouse-click. The click-through to detailed information was also kept to one layer deep. The same methodology was applied to the Products and Services section where click-less access was available to summary information.

Conventional global navigation is always on display to help Users accustomed to searching in this way. The site was developed in search engine friendly CSS and as with all solutions delivered by mwa Digital, the Web site is compatible across all major Web browsers on PC and Mac.
